It's a pleasure and blessing to share something with all of you and I hope that it will be beneficial for all of us. I'm sorry for late posting but it was due to lack of ideas and internet problems.
Friend, sodeeq, kawan, malgry, dost, and so are referring someone who is really close to our heart, who shares whatever happened in his/her life, who will always be there no matter what happened. Joys and sorrows are shared together. But I don't know what is "best-friend" referring to if a friend is the person who really stays besides you no matter in which situation.
When we said that "you are my friend" we just accept someone who was a stranger came into our life and be our friend. If before we never say hi and hello, we will be saying it after this and even more. I believe most of us have experience this. Am I right? and at the same time there is a doubt, a question, a confusion that this friend will leave us one day. Am I right? and
When we said "you are my best friend" we shared lots of about our life and so on and we never thought about that he or she will leave us one day and simply walk away from our life. But do you believe that it happened? Believe it or not, observe your surroundings and I'm sure you'll find it. Don't get surprised if your own best-friend stabs you from the back and your friend stays beside you.
So, you'll be asking me then what is the difference between them? There is no difference between a friend and best friend, it's just us who try to give different meanings in our dictionary. I don't know how you all accept a stranger in your life but I do it like this. When my heart accept someone to be my friend, I believe that he or she is not a normal person to me but I believe that that person is an extraordinary person. That's how I be friend with someone and for those who are not accepted by my heart doesn't mean I hate them. I will still smile or say hi hello whenever we meet.
Just a little sharing that why I'm writing about this is what happened to me. I had my best friend for not much long time but we were very close. So, as usual when I said you are my best friend I share whatever happened to me and probably can't eat without him. One day he came and scolded me but I don't know the reason. To cut the long story we never talked again after that and I do not know the reason why it happened.
Recently, what happened was out of my expectation. I do not know how to express the feelings but in a simple word I told my best friend that whatever is done is the best reward for my friendship. I really value my friendship and I'm honest with it. I do not like to tell a lie even it will hurt my friends. In my friendship I never try to show that I'm good or I'm always right, but I always avoid my friends to do something which I believe is not good for them and they do it as well and I do not like to hear someone talks bad about them in front of me.
Another case happened which really make me sad is when I heard form someone else that my friends used my name for their own benefits. Up to now I'm still keeping it secret and I never told that why they did so to me. Some of my friends might be thinking that I'm stupid and they can do whatever they want but actually I'm observing everything and just waiting for the right time to say it. So to these friends, I do not know what to say but I hope you might understand by your own.
Actually what I'm highlighting here is sometimes a friend can be much more close and loyal, honest than a best friend. So in order to abolish the term "best friend " or before naming someone with it, try to test it. A real friend will be with you no matter in which ever situation you are and trust me, a real friend will be with you as well in the heaven of Allah if our friendships brings us close to him. Lastly I just included a message a received late at night from one of my friend which sounds
"Sometimes you are like a father, sometimes you are like a mother, sometimes you are like a brother, and sometimes you like are a friend."
(Thanks God he didn't say that sometimes you are like a sister). Just joking.
As the end of the post, to know who is a true friend , if being with them gives you the feeling of peace, happiness, belonging trust me he/ she is your friend that will be always there for you. Fights, arguments happened in every relationships but they are never able to be separated from each other.
Don't simply look at others and don't simply called it as best friend. Don't love too much and don't hate too much. Who knows the one you love too much might be the one you hate soo much one day and the one you hate soo much might be the one you love too much one day.
