Greetings of Islam Assalamualaikum warahmatullah ^^
Dear may I know why you are sad?
A couple of years ago, I got a bad results in my exams. So I was very upset and could not think of anything. I have no feelings to go to classes as well. One day, I was sitting and grabbed my phone. I message of lecturer
"Salam khala. I feel so sad. My result is not good"
I got the answer after few days. It was short and simple answer but in fact it was the most perfect answer. She wrote to me
"My dear son! Our graph of life is not a straight line. It is a wave shape. Sometimes we are up and sometimes we are down but make sure you are not below than the normal. If you got good result be grateful and continue your hard work and if you got not good, check back. "
What does she meant by "check back". Before answering that, I would like to say as well. During my school time when we didn't get what we want our teacher always says to us that "Allah postponed it to the day which is much more important. Allah knows better and He wants us to work more hard".
I feel little bad and sad as most of us including myself, the Facebook is the place where we are expressing our feelings. When we are sad and so on. I don't want to say it's wrong. You post on your wall "I feel soo sad". Most of your friends came and comment which might or may encourage you. But we forgot that Allah has sent to us a perfect medicine for that and it is Al-Quran.
"Which the the bounties of your Lord will you deny"

"Those who believe and whose heart are set at rest by the remembrance of Allah: now surely by Allah's remembrance are the hearts set at rest"
(Ar Rad V-28)
So, the way to remember Allah is through Al-Quran. No matter if you feel very sad, take ablution and read Al-Quran. Allah wills you will find the rest in your heart. If you read a little and still can't find the peace continue reading. InsyaAllah you will get it. Who knows while reading Al-Quran you might sleep and when you wake up, you will feel something different. Believe it.
Why we should be sad if we are still alive, can hear, listen, speak, given two hands, two legs, water, air, and so on and the biggest one is Islam. Praise be to Allah that we are muslims. What we want in this life? Millions billions, trillions of dollar and still we might not satisfied with it. All these because we want more and more. But the point here is what is the aim of our life? The aim of our life is to meet Allah S.W.T in hereafter where nothing is secret and everything we did is projected on a big screen. Nothing could be hide anymore. That's is the objective of our life not having all these wealth. Yet why we still sad ? We have what others don't have and others have what we don't. Fair right?
Allah has mentioned the holy Al-Quran in Surah Ibrahim V- 34
"And He gives you of all that you ask Him: and if you count Allah's favors, you will not be able to number them, most surely man is very unjust, very ungrateful"
To be grateful, lets open our eyes and look around. Look at the people outside there who really don't get what we have, who can't afford what we are wasting. Look at the people below us not above us.
Last but not list, if you don't have what you love, love what you have and never isolate Allah because He is almighty Who gave us all these. If you feel sad, Al-Quran is the best medicine for. If you can't have peace in mind and heart, Al-Quran is there. Ask Allah all the time and never forget him.Allah without us no problem but we without him just like a kite with no ropes.
Let's together say Alhamdulillah for everything and remember that all what we have will be witness on the day of judgment.
So dear! After all why you are still sad? Don't be sad. Smile and enjoy your two days life. Build a bridge to the permanent world. Build a beautiful house there. Remember Allah in every situation. Allah is always there. He just want us to talk to Him, ask Him and insyaAllah He will surely answer it. Don't be disappointed if He answer it late. Think positive that He knows what is better and when it is better for you. Wallahua'lam...
Sincerely,
Abdul Qahar
